Porridge Yam

How To Prepare Porridge Yam With Vegetables. 

Iam always in the business of bringing you an insight on how to help you glow in your kitchen with that very simple twist in preparing the very regular meal that makes the whole difference. 


If you already know how to prepare Porridge yam, then trust me when I tell you that your already equipped with the knowledge of cooking this dish cos the only difference is that other than adding the normal ugu or green leaf at the tail end of the cooking, you simply add all the beautiful colored salad vegetables and that's it. 

All the same for those of your who are not so familiar with this dish,  here's the tip to arriving at the magic. 

INGREDIENTS REQUIRED :
1.  Yam
2. Red oil
3. Crayfish
4. Salt
5. Green pepper
6. Carrot
7. Onions
8. Seasoning cube. 
9. Green peaz. 

PREPARATORY PROCESS :
Step 1 :
Slice the yam into cubes after peeling off the back and set same on fire adding salt and water to the level of the yam.

Step 2 :
After the yam must have cooked for you 10 minutes,  add 1 cooking spoon full of red oil,  crayfish,  fresh pepper,  seasoning cube and cover to boil for 10 minutes. 

Step 3 :
Stir the yam continuously with a spatula to enable the yam breakages to thicken the water a bit

Step 4 :
Add all the sliced vegetables,  pinch of salt,  taste and alow to simmer for a minute. 

Your delicious yam vegetables is ready to be eaten.
