Breakfast Inspiration

Boiled Irish potatoes & Sauce


Sometimes we wake up with several thoughts as to what to have for breakfast especially when time is a constraints.


Here I decided to share a very quick, simple, cost effective and yet nutritious breakfast you can have which will help jump start your day.



Facts About Sweet Potatoes. 
1. It is an underground tuber. It grows on the root of a plant known as Ipomoea batatas in scientific word.   

2. Rich in vitamin B6 which helps to reduce the chemical homocysteine in our body. 

3. Rich in vitamin C which helps in warding off cold and fluid diseases

4. Rich in vitamin D which help and iron.

5. It's rich in fiber. 

6. Can be consumed in a variety of ways but are most commonly boiled, baked, steamed or fried. 

This is what the fresh sweet potato looks like.


Here I prepared shrimps sauce and used it to enjoy my boiled sweet potatoes as seen below
