Roasted Plantain Preparation
Nigerians love for plantain forced their hands into diversifying in preparation of plantain, some fry it, some roast it, some bake it or even eat it raw when it's ripe ec.
But we shall not be talking all about that for now, we will be focusing on oven grilled half ripe plantain.
This recipe is practically enjoyed by all asundry in Nigeria.
Another amazing thing is that aside the fact that it tastes sumptuous, it's equally cost effective

PREPARATORY PROCESS :
Step 1 :
Peel off the bark of half ripe plantain and use knife and run through the body of the peeled plantain as though your creating body cut, this will alow heat to penetrate and thus allowing the plantain to cook proper in and out.
Step 2 :
If you have oven, put it into your oven and set it at 150Âșc, and it will be ready in about 10 minutes or alternatively if your using griller or charcoal local roasting method, it's still good.
NOTE :
What you should know is that, you should never alow yourself to be deprived of any meal your craving for simply cos you feel you lack the modern utensils to do so, always remember to make do with what you've got after all, we were surviving just fine before those modern facilities were invented.
Step 3 :
After the plantain is ready, simply pound fresh pepper and onions together and fry it using red oil and add a cube of maggi to taste.
Serve with grilled fish and your good to go.
