Mashed Potatoes

How To Prepare Mashed Potatoes

This is one of the quickest meal to whip up in the kitchen whenever hunger knocks. 
Not only is it cost effective,  it's equally easy and quick to prepare and you further need no special shopping to prepare it. 


Bear in mind that same procedure can be used to prepare yam, irish potatoes,  sweet potatoes and many more tubers. 
But for this dish,  I prepared mine using sweet potato. 

The only ingredients you will be needing is sweet potato,  potatoe masher or alternatively pestle or spatula depending on the quantity of potatoes that you are preparing. 


PREPARATORY PROCESS :
Step 1 :
Wash and peel off the back of the sweet potato and slice same into small sizes

Step 2 :
Bring water to a boil, add pinch of salt and pour in the already sliced potatoes and allow to cook till its very soft. 

Step 3 :
Sieve out the water after its cooked,  pour into a potato masher and mash same. 
Note :
If you do not have a potatoe masher,  don't get frightened,  simply use pestle and mash it or use spatula if your preparing small quantity and mash it.  You will achieve same result. 

Step 4 :
