OFADA SAUCE

How To Prepare Ofada Sauce. 


Ofada Sauce is one Nigerian delicacy that has come to stay.  One very most amazing thing about ofada sauce is that , as much as the sauce is known to be tied to ofada rice,  it can equally be used to eat other dishes that is not strictly ofada rice.
Follow me closely as I take you through culinary journey of ofada sauce.

INGREDIENTS REQUIRED :
1.  Red oil
2. Dried fish
3. Fresh pepper

4. Seasoning
5. Crayfish
6. Boiled egg (optional )
7. Kpomo
8. Onions
9. Habanero pepper unripe
10. Locust beans (optional )

PREPARATORY PROCESS :
Step 1 :
Blend the whole fresh pepper and onions together and cook same on fire till the water dries up.

Step 2 :
Cook the fish and kpomo with maggi cube, onions and Cameroon pepper till its tender. Set same in a plate and set it aside

Step 3 :
Put 3 cooking spoon full of red oil into a empty pot and set same on fire and alow to bleach.  Set it down for few minutes to cool off the excessive smoke and hotness.

Step 4 :
Put the already bleached oil on fire and add the already cooked pepper purry and stir

Step 5 :
After cooking for a short while,  stir and add blended crayfish,  already cooked meat or fish or kpomo (Depends on your preferred meat ) and maggi cube


Step 6.
Stir and taste for salt. Take it down and serve with ofada rice or any other grain of your choice.
