How To Prepare Egusi Soup
This is one of the most popular and easiest Nigerian cuisine to cook and it's pretty cost effective.
Join me as a take you through its preparatory processes bearing in mind that there are diverse ways of preparing this soup all you need do is just to try mine as an added advantage yo your method

INGREDIENTS REQUIRED :
1. Egusi ( melon seed )
2. Stock fish
3. Smoked fish
4. Cow skin ( canda )
5. Periwinkles
6. Cow beef
7. Snail
8. Red oil
9. Ugu leaf ( pumpkin)
10. Fresh pepper and crayfish
11. Seasoning

BEFORE PREPARATION :
1. Blend the melon seed

2. Cook your stock fish, beef,snail and every other meat that your interested in adding, slice in onions, dry cameroon pepper, pinch of salt and maggi cubes and alow to cook till its very soft and set it aside.
3. Wash and slice your ugu leaf and set it aside
4. Blend the fresh pepper and crayfish and set it aside.
COOKING DIRECTION.
Step 1.
Put an empty pot on the fire and add 2 cooking spoon full of red oil into the pot
Step 2.
Dissolve the blended egusi in a bowl with cold water and pour it into the frying and keep stirring it till its very dried like this image below

Step 3 :
After the egusi is dry, pour your already cooked meat and it's stock into the egusi and stir
Step 4 :
Add the blended pepper and crayfish and a little cold water if it's too thick and stir
Step 5 :
Add maggi cube and taste for salt.
Step 6 :
Add the already sliced vegetables and cover for 30 seconds, stir it and take it down.
Your meal is ready to be served with garri or any other swallow of your choice.
