Okra Soup

How To Prepare Okra Soup. 




One thing you should note is the fact that okra soup having become a very 
popular soup that cut across the world, people are now in the business of exploring diverse ways to prepare it.

 Bear in mind that there are no hard and fast rule as to how this is prepared but the beauty of nature is being able to diversify.  After all, variety they say is the spice of life. 

INGREDIENTS REQUIRED :
Fresh okra
Fresh spinach or pumpkin leaf


Lobster ( what you popularly call crayfish )
Fresh pepper
Stock fish
Snail (optional )
Traditional yoruba spicy (Iru)
Ice fish
Red oil


BEFORE PREPARATION :
1. Wash and slice your okra using knife or grater and set it aside like this

2. Slice the vegetable after thorough washing to get rid of sand

3. Cook your stock fish and meat together adding Onga maggi cube, onions and       Cameroon dry pepper till its very soft. 


PREPARATORY PROCESS :
STEP 1 :
After the meat is thoroughly cooked and soften, add 1/2 liter of water into the meat stock and 2 cooking spoon full of red oil and cover it allowing it to boil thoroughly until the oil can no longer be separated from the water.

Step 2 :
Put the okra into a separate pot and cook it till it draws properly and pour it into the oil pot allowing it to boil for another 5 minutes before adding the blended pepper and lobster.

Step 3 :
Stir continuously and add a cube of Onga maggi. Afterwards, immediately add the sliced vegetables, stir and put it down.


Step 4 :
Serve hot with any swallow of your choice.
